Dr. Jay Khimani

Family Dentistry

Dr. Jay Khimani was born in Uganda, Africa and migrated to the United States in 1972. His family established themselves in Chicago, Illinois, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree at Aurora University. He obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Loyola University Chicago, graduating with the class of 1988. He has been practicing dentistry for over 30 years, beginning with family dentistry in Crystal Lake, Illinois.

Dr. Khimani maintains his enthusiasm for education and dentistry by participating in many continuing education courses including implant dentistry, Invisalign, sleep apnea, advanced restorative dentistry and cosmetic dentistry. His experience, along with advancements in dentistry, has helped Dr. Khimani provide dental care in a compassionate, kind and patient-focused environment.  He is an active member of the Ontario Dental Association, American Dental Association, Royal College of Dental Surgeons and the Canadian Dental Association.

When he’s not practicing dentistry, Dr. Khimani enjoys travelling and spending time with family and friends. He has participated in the World Partnership Walk, Canadian Civic 150 and volunteers at various events with the Time and Knowledge organization.

    Dr. Kristjan Mullerbeck

    Family Dentistry

    Dr. Kristjan Mullerbeck has always enjoyed the sciences and fine arts. During his undergraduate studies at York University, Dr. Kristjan gained an appreciation for healthcare through his study of anatomy and physiology. In dentistry, Dr. Kristjan has found the perfect combination of sculpture and science while earning his dental degree at Western University.

    Dr. Kristjan has a strong desire to ensure that his patients are comfortable so that they can maintain their best possible oral health. He enjoys answering any questions his patients may have or just talking to patients in general. He has also enjoyed bringing the dental office on the road to impoverished communities on several mission trips.

     

      Shauna

      Treatment Coordinator / Receptionist

      Shauna is the latest member to join our team. After graduating from McMaster University, Shauna went onto George Brown College in Toronto. She has been happy in her career as a Dental Assistant Level II and expanding her knowledge at reception and as our new Treatment Coordinator.

        Stephanie

        Dental Hygienist

        Stephanie joined the team at Queenston Dental in June 2015. She started her career as a Dental Assistant in 2004 and later went on to complete her Dental Hygiene certification in 2009. Stephanie is passionate about educating patients on their dental care so they can achieve optimal oral health. She prides herself on providing the highest standard of care and always does so with a smile.

          Elaine

          Dental Hygienist

          Elaine graduated from Dental Assisting in 2007 in Northern Ireland and worked in Belfast for a number of years before going back to school for Dental Hygiene in 2013. Elaine loves dental hygiene and seeing the patients smile makes it effortless.

            Becky

            Becky graduated from Niagara College in 2013. She is originally from Niagara Falls, but has fallen in love with Hamilton.  She enjoys educating patients on the benefits of good oral hygiene as well as collaborating with colleagues to create patient specific treatment plans.

             

              Lynn

              Dental Assistant - CDA II

              Lynn has been working with Dr. Mlekuz since July 1972. She has enjoyed seeing the different generations of patients come in over the many years she has worked at Queenston Dental.  Many friendships with staff and patients have been made.

                Violetta

                Dental Assistant - CDA II

                Violetta graduated from her dental assistant course in 1993. She has been working for Dr. Mlekuz since 1998. That same year she completed her Level II assisting course. She enjoys working with the staff and patients in the dental field.

                  Rosey

                  Dental Assistant - CDA II

                  Rosey graduated from Dental Assisting in 2003 and joined our practice in 2007. She loves her profession and is happy to be a part of a friendly team!
